Equipment Rental Terms
1. General
These are the equipment rental terms of Sukelluskoulu Rausku (3603908-9), applicable to equipment rentals.
For any questions, you can contact us at info@sukelluskoulurausku.fi.

2. Purchases, Orders, Payment and Delivery
You can purchase our services or products by filling out the form on our website, by email, by phone, or via various messaging applications.

After receiving the completed form or agreeing on the order, we will issue and send an invoice. The payment term is 7 days. Regardless of the payment term, the invoice for equipment rental must be paid before collecting the equipment. Please note that we begin processing the order immediately after receiving the form/order, so the order becomes binding upon submission of the form or agreement on the order. Inquiries about services are not orders.
If you make a purchase by other means, such as by phone or messaging applications, the order becomes binding once agreed upon, after which we begin processing it.

For equipment rentals, the delivery date is the rental start date.

The rental period is charged in 24-hour periods. If this is exceeded, a new rental day begins and will be charged at the daily rental rate.

When agreeing on the rental, we will agree on pickup and return times. Outside these times, we may not be available to hand over or receive equipment. If you return the equipment late and a new rental day has started, we will invoice this afterward.

Changes to the rental period must be agreed in advance by both parties.
3. Right of Cancellation
The right of cancellation is determined in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 16.
Diving courses, try dives, rentals, events and similar leisure services do not have a right of cancellation if the service is agreed to be performed at a specific time.

Even if you do not collect the equipment ("no show"), we will charge the agreed rental price.
4. Conditions Related to Diving
Equipment rental only covers the rental of equipment, and the customer is solely responsible for diving activities and their own insurance. We are not responsible for weather or other natural conditions, or for any inability to use the rented equipment due to illness or similar reasons.

The customer is liable for the equipment if it is lost or damaged during use. Equipment must be used with normal care and caution. Tanks must be secured safely during transport.

We provide guidance on the use of the equipment at pickup, and the customer must follow our instructions. We recommend checking the equipment at the time of rental to avoid misunderstandings, and again before entering the water, as required for safe diving. The customer acknowledges that even if the equipment is in proper condition at handover, a fault may occur unexpectedly, and therefore careful inspection before each use is essential. In case of faults, please contact us immediately. Use of the equipment is always at the customer’s own risk. In fault situations, any replacement equipment, extension of the rental period, or compensation will be agreed on a case-by-case basis. We do not compensate for indirect costs caused by faults.

Equipment must only be used for its intended normal use and conditions. The equipment may not be sub-rented.
Equipment must not be left unattended or in an unlocked space. In case of theft, it must be reported to us and, if necessary, to the police according to our instructions.

5. Validity
These terms are valid from 19 March 2026 until further notice. We reserve the right to update the terms.
